Louise Herbert

Louise has been in the Home Show business since 1991. She managed the Anaheim Southern California Home & Garden Show from 1991 to 2000. During her tenure the Southern California Home & Garden Show became the largest and most respected home show west of the Mississippi occupying 3 halls at the Anaheim Convention Center. In addition to managing the infamous 9 day show she launched the first home shows at the then new Ontario Convention Center.

In 2001 Louise joined forces with Thorsch Productions producing highly successful and well-attended home shows in Ontario, California, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Glendale, Arizona.

Thorsch Productions is known as the premier Home Show Management Company. Louise was involved in all aspects of operation including, sales, advertising, marketing and special features.

Louise takes pride in producing quality events that benefit both the exhibitor and the consumer. She is known for developing close relationships with her exhibitors by listening, and acting upon, their concerns.


Ron Herbert

Ron has been involved in all the shows since Louise started in the business. Ron is responsible for all non-sales activities including contract management, accounting, and business development. He also assists in the move-in and move-out process. Ron is the go-to guy for the exhibitor at show site.


Marlene Thorne

Marlene has been in the home show business since 1984.  She has been involved in the production and marketing of over 230 events in California and Nevada.

Marlene has handled all aspects of the consumer show business including production, sales and marketing, advertising and publicity, show management, accounting, special features, seminars and so forth.

Prior to joining the consumer show industry, Marlene was an exhibitor in trade shows across the country including the Consumer Electronics Show, Chicago Housewares Show, Atlantic Giftware Show, New York Variety Show, New York Toy Faire and The Atlantic Super Show.

Having been an exhibitor herself, Marlene understands the value of personal contact with exhibitors and the importance of taking care of their needs and concerns.



Jim Lincoln

Jim Lincoln started in 1985 with the Richard James Corp., as Sales & Show Manager. He successfully built that new division into a 40 show circuit across the country while managing a sales force of 12 sales people. The circuit was in major cities such as San Jose, San Diego, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Phoenix and Boston. He has also been involved with all marketing aspects of the “home show business” always using the latest technology to get the message out to the public as well as exhibitors. Several of the top show companies over the years, have utilized Jim as a consultant & salesperson. Some of the companies: Richard James Corp, American Shows, Bonanza Shows, World Class Shows & Nor Cal Events.

In 1998, Jim changed course and started his own company, DiscountDisplays.com, realizing, before others in the industry, the power of the Internet. Discount Displays was one of the first “web based business’s” that sold trade show displays & graphics via a web site. Jim sold the company after a 10 year run in 2009.


Marla Behm

Marla began her “show business” career in 1993 in Trade Shows – Business to Business events. For several years she was Trade Show Coordinator for the World Floor Covering Association. Their annual show “Surfaces” is the largest floor covering show in the U.S. and one of the largest most attended shows held yearly in Las Vegas.

In 2000, Marla joined dmg world media, as Sales Representative along with Louise Herbert, Show Manager, of the Anaheim Home & Garden Show and the Inland Empire Home Show in Ontario. She became Exhibit Sales Manager in 2002 for shows in Anaheim and San Diego.

Marla enjoys helping exhibitors select their locations to maximize their return on investment showcasing their products or services resulting in quality leads and sales. Her Trade Show background is a valuable resource for both exhibitors and the Stellar Expos Team.
